Group Postnatal Lactation Counseling – $50 Per Person

A supportive and educational group session designed to help new parents build confidence in their breastfeeding journey while connecting with others in a welcoming community environment. Led by a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC), these sessions provide hands-on guidance, feeding support, and practical education tailored to common postpartum feeding challenges.

What's Covered and What to Expect

  • Assessment & Support: CLCs, who are trained in clinical lactation management, will observe breastfeeding sessions and evaluate the baby's latch and feeding position.
  • Education & Skills: They instruct on hand expression, proper use of breast pumps, and understanding newborn feeding cues.
  • Troubleshooting Challenges: Sessions cover common issues such as nipple pain, engorgement, and milk supply management.
  • Individualized Care in a Group Setting: While in a group, the CLC often provides personalized guidance to each dyad regarding their specific feeding goals.
  • Emotional Support: Group sessions offer a chance to share experiences with other parents in a comfortable, community setting.
